a few questions about the Autotuner Slave
Hello,
I get a lot of inquiries about chip tuning from my garage. I did some research and found 2 colleagues who write the maps with master themselves and I as a slave could then install them on the customers. Before I take this step, I have a few questions. - What exactly can I do as a slave? - Can I save the optimized map and play it back and forth? Is the master needed if vehicle A has already been optimized by the master? - Can I load the map from the Golf 4 TDI with 131 hp (just as an example) onto another Golf with the same engine without the master? - Are there any optimizers here who would edit the map? Could I download the original map as a slave and send this to a user as an example? -Can I also deactivate "simple" tasks such as EGR without the master? I can't think of any other questions at the moment. Kind regards. |

With slave tool you are locked to 1 supplier your master.
Whatever you read is crypted so you can't edit. Also you can't use your tool to write files supplied by other parties. You can't reuse files. SLAVE means exactly what it means You are basically servant of your master, Your master is making big £££ while you can make some small profit whatever you charge on top of what you have paid for the file. There is no way to examine files supplied by master in editors as they are in crypted format. You basically blindly writing something into the ecu hoping for the best... If you work with decent file supplier you may be fine working this way, but slave users generally get into trouble before they even pay off the tool. Get Master tool and learn, That's the best way... |

i got it... Yes... EGR could be learned (I think)... but just increasing the performance of a BMW G20, X3, X5 is not done with "increasing the boost pressure", I think you have to pay attention to a lot more.
- Boost pressure and millibars, how many millibars, at what point does it become too much? - When does the ignition timing start to increase, by how much, when and why, how do you know which values are good? - Fuel map... At some point, you will certainly feel "blind" and relaxed, but there are currently many question marks as described above. |
