This is only valid for models E8X and E6x with motor code N43 with an automatic gearbox

BMW has updated the software for these cars, off of ISTA P3.58.1 there is a check on brake vaccuum built building.

Thanks for this document, very informative. But as another forum member stated in a previous post it'll be solved in a newer ISTA-P version (3.59.2, although I heard from a BMW mechanic it will be 3.59.3 the soonest). So I hope this retrofit action isn't needed, it's a lot of work. And money I guess.

Also, I think it's ridiculous that after many years of functioning without any real problems BMW decides my car needs extra parts.
