if you don´t have a online connection with BMW servers ,it is normal to have the operation page blank.

Coming from ISTA-D v3.51 here are my observations so far on my Win7 64-bit...

Initially ISTAGUI.EXE would crash upon start-up. See 1st attachment. Installing .NET 4.6.2 fixed this issue (already mentioned earlier in this thread).

If you are running a 64 bit OS, you need to install X64 AND x86 vcredist 2015 software, otherwise you get the "Failed to start ISTA." error and log a fault about a .DLL it cannot find (see your LOG folder). Originally I downloaded the latest version from Microsoft for each year (2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015), but the 2015 install would hang at the very end. 2015 x86 and x64 showed in my list of installed programs, but only after uninstalling and using the 2015 versions in the Tools folder (from the download) would ISTA-D launch correctly. See 2nd attachment for vcredist I've installed.

Lesson learned - read and follow the excellent FAQ!

I skipped the SDP files. If you don't plan to use this programming feature in ISTA-D this will save 80+ GB of space.

I noticed the FASTA upload was attempting to send a record of my activity. See 3rd attachment. I went into the istagui.exe.config file and changed FASTA to false:

When printing the Fault Memory List, SSP Wiring Diagram or any "Screenshot" I do not get a dialog box asking where I want to print to. Instead, a XPS document is created in the Rheingold/Print folder.
When printing Operations Reports I also do not get a dialog box. Instead a PDF is created in the Rheingold/Print folder. I don't see the option to print a "SHORTENED OPERTIONS" report anymore.
Printing FUB (Functional Description) or REP (Repair) or AZD (Specifications) documents does give the dialog box, so I can send it directly to my printer.

The 4/7th 3/7th spit screen is a big improvement when using the INFOMRATION SEARCH feature. This alone was worth the upgrade. Removal of FASTA during a scan for faults is also very nice!

Fault Memory list now includes distance (km) and I-level.

I haven't used ISTA-P yet, so no comments...

UPDATE: Now my Operations Report page is blank. I'm not sure what I did. I see others had this issue in older versions, but I haven't seen any solution. See 4th screenshot. Suggestions?
