RE: BMW Crash-telegram memory (when a car saves accident in a module)
(22-02-2017, 22:58 PM)bmwlover Wrote: Hello. Does anybody have an idea how to reset mrs module? When a car has an accident and you change airbag, the error light still remains. You need to delete crash telegram memory. Does anybody know which software is for it?0. Error memory only and generally in ACSM - eep! eep can be fixed! 1. Delete Error using INPA,Winkfp, ISTA, Rheingold or any professional workshop tester 2. In case 1 not working read out location of error with either tools 1. 3. solve problem checking and fixing i.e seat occupancy controll, seatbelt tensioner, airbag of any location... etc., sometimes broken wires .. connector problem...etc. 4. fix source of problem ! 5. In some cases its possible to outcode faulty source with NCS expert ( this solution is prohibited and against federal law in most countries !!! Be aware of the risc beeing implemented for passengers security... I absolutely recommend not to use this option... car will lose official registration automatically..and cannot be used in public traffic anymore. ) 6. In case faultcounter inside ACSM is more /equal 2 ( i.e. 2 or 3 airbags released after crash, there will be no way to delete error, not even with genuine BMW tools. In consequence ACSM module has to be replaced... this is the official way.... inofficially there is a way to reset Crashcounter the hard way in eep of ACSM ( E-Series). In case you think this post was helpful pls. push famous buttons thx + Rep |
