I need to make a correction here, as to the location of the current ETKA installation.
[That's what happens if you write it from memory.]
My current installation shows up in: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\ETKA7.5_International
See screenshot: and the stringvalues of it are in the right pane of the screenshot.
Maybe your current installation shows a location, [911Turbo] [but now it will show ETKA8.0, since yours installed OK]
My Installation aborted the same way as many other peoples did, so I don't have the correct solution, but working on it.

I have the same thing, thk god i had the idea to snapshot the VM before the upgrade
i will have a look in my registery as i did not use this install, mine did update with no problems
