It i a passthru device that either is recognised manually as vas5054a or vas6154 in odis configurator.

The problem with these devices because of inability of frmware upgrade downgrade with odis-e (since it is a different device) and maybe due to other hardware limitations it may be not be abe to flash or perform other functions. with odis-s it should work fine. As for geko users it was not checked if it can flash with SVM (odis-s).

So, do you mean J2534 passthru devices can not be used with ODIS-E for flashing?
