I never tried retrofit or mount these kombi in others cars. If possible I would use an 35160 VVDI emulator with 0 Km, not change bytes in other lines, in Old mini R50 to mount used kombi in other car I set mileage to 0, NCS code and works at 100%, and it was done on micro and not on eprom, maybe in F56 Series need set to 0 and VO Code

Mileage is not the problem now only need to find the lines where shortvin is stored.

I removed on 2 places on 6WB kombi 35128WT and flashed the kombi. Red dot was gone until i loaded cafd, then it came back again. So somewhere else it's still stored, maybe encrypted.

yea i cleared it all even replaced it with target vin, doesnt seem to help... maybe vin is also stored in another chip?

Line 2F0 was back to donorvin it seems. i changed that to new vin again to check and booted still red dot. all vin's i could see i replaced them with target vin...
