Right. I have a pair of BMW 745D ECUs on the bench here that I am trying to immo off using an emulator.
The eeprom in the master was from a 2010 335D so I flashed the eeprom from the slave ecu which was correct into the master ecu.
The issue I am having is trying to get the comms with INPA on the bench with either of the ECUs. I am connecting K-Line on pin 8 and CAN bus on 33 and 46.
Looking through the wiring diagrams I can't see where the K-Line connects to the Master ecu as it's going through some kind of over complicated gateway which communicates via K-Line to the OBD2 port and then CAN from the gateway to the Master ECU. Ironically, the 2 ecus have K-Line and CAN between them.
What stupid mistake am I making or am I missing someting.
