00A90063 is Next Europe map up to 2022-2. ...50 is 2021-1.

Hi mate,

Could you teach me how to read the last 2 digits to show map fsc expiry?

I have an FSC repair kit for my car but I cannot find maps old enough to activate it after I replaced my HU.

Easy way - take HDDLookup.xml file from ISTA and find what you need. Hard way - take same file and work out the system...

SWID_FscShort="00B90040" name="Road Map SOUTHEAST ASIA Route 2019"

But none directly correspond to my FSC file. Does that mean I can use this FSC for Map 2018-2?

In this case 00B9 is map id, this does NOT change. Four (hexadecimal) digits after is "index".  All maps with indexes equal or lower to the fsc you have will WORK. BMW recently started using month based indexes. So they increase index by 1 each month. So fsc you get is based on month you bought it. Maps get an index based on the month they are built.
