But maybe your digiprog does nog have ftdi-chip inside. you need that chip for connect to pc (otherwise buy chip and solder to circuit board).
install drivers and check if pc recognize the tool.

could you give me a little more info, ie where to purchase correct chip (link would be great) and where to find drivers , and maybe a pic of where this ftdi chip needs to be/go on digiprog circuit board

Unit has the chip inside. I checked. I see unit in device manager and drivers look like installed properly.

Are you using xp mate? I couldnt get digi to work with windows 7

I also tryed in xp pc but same problem.
Question : Do you hear any little ''click'' from the device when you push the ''PC TERM'' function ???
