I did a straight install of this using only the setup.exe file. I did not touch any of the other setup files in the ISO. I installed it using the region "Other (General)" and checked the box for Canada.

So far it works and accepts PCM codes.

I use the Honda MVCI and a laptop with Win 7.

Edit: August 8, 2017: Just swapped an ECU on a 2016 Acura RDX and it works.

hi mate so your MVci does work with Immo add do all key lost..??? Yes.
so u have problem PCM codes?? No problems.
run this version with MVCi ??? Yes.

Dont need any crack/patch ? No crack needed.

I discovered today that you will need i-HDS to program a factory accessory remote starter.
I was trying to add the remotes for the remote starter on a 2014 Acura RDX AWD (non tech model). The installation guide available on Honda estore uses a very old version of HDS. In the guide it says to go to R/C ENG STARTER, the menu opens but when you select REGISTER REMOTE CONTROL ENGINE STARTER UNIT, it says that this option has been deleted. You will need to exit HDS and access the Immobilizer Setup Tool--which is accessible in i-HDS. I will be trying this in the next few minutes and will update.

HDS 3.102.004.iso installed OK.

i-HDS 1.003.003.iso took 3 tries to get going.
The first 2 tries, it was attempting to install a Microsoft C++ thing and some other Windows installer thing. But the progress bar wasn't moving so I exited it both times. Currently on the 3rd attempt and at 80% on the setup wizard.

Installing i-HDS removed the standalone HDS icon from my desktop. So to use, it I have to start i-HDS and then connect to vehicle. This launches the actual diagnostic program. Most things seem to work fine except the ONE PUSH START function. The vehicle was a 2017 Acura RDX and I wanted to add another key. I went through the prompts but after I turned the ignition off and then back on (following the on screen instructions), it told me that this function has been deleted from HDS and to exit HDS, and start up Immobilizer Setup on the i-HDS screen.
HOWEVER...
This is where it gets annoying. The Immobilizer Setup is missing a file and does not work (sorry, forgot to take a screen shot of what file was missing).
Something like this happened the last time I tried installing and using i-HDS. I uninstalled i-HDS and all related programs (HDS, J passthru etc.) and installed HDS 3.102.004 by itself to see if the ONE PUSH START function to add a key would work again. It did not work.
I had to do a full factory reset on my laptop to clear and lingering files/settings the i-HDS left on the drive.
And... This is what I am currently doing now. Will update again after the laptop resets and only HDS is reinstalled. Hopefully nothing detrimental was changed on the MVCI itself.

After the laptop reset to factory settings, I tried installing several versions of HDS (3.102.004 + rewrite, 3.101.044, 3.017.012 + passthru), I kept running into an issue that happened last year. When trying to connect to a vehicle, HDS will state: HDS cannot find the CM Update calibration files on the PC. Please re-install CM Update on the PC.
I've uninstalled and deleted any files that could be related to HDS. I found an old version (3.010.013) on a DVD that I've kept all these years (meaning it works) and installed that. This DVD seemingly installed everything for the HDS to connect to the vehicle. I didn't get the error message: HDS cannot find the CM Update calibration files on the PC. Please re-install CM Update on the PC.

So version 3.010.013 connects to the vehicle.

Being such an old version, it obviously didn't have a 2017 Acura RDX on the list of vehicles. I installed 3.102.004 on top of the current HDS (so I did NOT uninstall the old version) and it replaced 3.010.013 on the program list.
Got the HDS cannot find the CM Update calibration files on the PC. Please re-install CM Update on the PC. error again.
So I tried installing 3.101.044, same error. I'm back at square one. Uninstalled everything, deleted all the left over folders in the C: drive.

Currently trying 3.017.012 SPX-Pro-TizWaz. Will update when it's done and tested.

Good news. Installed 3.017.012 SPX-Pro-TizWaz (with region settings set as USA--can't remember if I set it myself or it did it by itself) and was doing some searching and came across a post by someone else regarding the missing CM Update calibration files.

I ran the installation like normal and then went to my C: drive.

1. Create a folder named "CMUpdate"
2. Go to C:\GenRad\DiagSystem\
3. Copy folders: CalibFiles, Data, ECUDB, and HTML to the new CMUpdate folder.

Now for the record, I'm not sure if not doing those steps would've affected the HDS. I did them anyway as it couldn't hurt.

Now here's the bad news. Due to HDS being installed under the USA region, when I go to Honda Systems > One Push Start, there is no Keyless Access Remote option--the function to add a key. So I uninstalled just HDS PC 3.017.

Next up, I installed 3.101.044, chose region: other > Canada. Finished the installation and launched the program. All the options are there... Honda Systems > One Push Start > Keyless Access Remote > Add Key.

MORE bad news. HDS tells me this function has been deleted from HDS and to exit HDS and use Immobilizer Setup--which is seen in i-HDS.

Now we're back where we started. HDS works, but I can't add a key.

I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling 3.017.012 SPX-Pro-TizWaz and use the other > Canada region and see if it changes anything... Update later.
