There's no way BMW/Bosch programmers used psi as their base pressure unit. They used mbar absolute, just like nearly all EDC15,16,17. So 1700= 1700mbar absolute pressure, which is atmospheric pressure + turbo boost. So 2700mbar absolute roughly equates to 24.6psi, at sea level (and no hurricane). |
