It did work for me but I think it depends on the model dvd unit in the trunk.

I do not know why when putting this version of the update Navi DVD COMAND APS NTG1 EUROPE v18 2017 it reboots continuously the unit on W211, but with the earlier versions 2015 or 2016 works fine. Does anyone know?

I have updated to the latest version of firmware, and I went a bit further by combining files with NGT2 which gave me a detailed map of my country as well (in this case Albania), this came out of 20 dvd copies which I have tried.

Because I have an SL500 R230 2006 and Mercedes officially says that the latest DVD I can use is v12, So I was wondering if I can create a more updated DVD myself.
