You can put a spacer on rear O2 and that code will not come up anymore. Used spacers on lot's of vehicles, some with cats removed.
If you move the rear sensor out of the exhaust stream it still switches, but slow enough not to mirror the front O2, which is why the code sets. If someone took the time to help you, the least you can do is take a few seconds and press two buttons!
