1ste step: open the engine hood in front
2de step: Close the car and wait for the start stop light to go out
3de step: disconnect the HV switch under the plastiek cover near the left headlight
4de step: lock the switch with a lock
5de step: open the car, press the start stop button and watch if you get a red notification HV disabeld.
(IF NOT: Close car and reconnect the HV switch and repait from step 2)
6de step: Open the trunk. Unscrew the bolts from the plate in the buttom trunk
7de step: Put 12V charcher on the 12V points on the EME
8de step: program the car

!! Never switch the HV switch to off when the car is not in sleep (start stop light off) This will damage the relais in the HV accu. You can do it about 10 times without letting the car sleep before you have to change the s-box in the HV accu.

!! Never switch it back on without turning the car off (here it doesn't have to be in sleep mode)

!! I don't care what I -level the car is. Always do it like this. If something go wrong during programming you will be f*cked!!!

These or the official guidlines that I have from BMW. I'm a certified BMW i-technician.
And I'm not responsible for it if something go wrong.

If you are certified you know that from certain I-Level (see previous post) you do not need to disconect HV-Battery. Because ista/p ista/d does it automatically by programming....
