I think placing the drive to a usb caddy and copy the maps won't work - even if you use the SD card copy, you have to insert the DVD to succesfully finish and confirm the installed maps; same is when using MRMManager to copy the maps from SD card. SetConfig has a feature to set the map copy status to finished even when the maps were not installed completely, but I don't recommend to use it this way.
To be 100% sure everything is correct replace the DVD drive and finish the map update using the DVD. Or find somebody near you who can help with that. |
