I am experiencing a problem with car and I would like to benefit from your knowledge and experiences to help me. vehicle is a KIA SORENTO(XM) 2015 with a 2.2/CRDI engine. Recently, I noticed the appearance of a fault code P1186.

I am worried because I am not familiar with this fault code and I don't exactly know what it means. I have done some research, but the information I found is quite general and not specific to my car model.

I would like to understand what this fault code P1186 implies for my car. Maybe someone has already had this problem and has successfully resolved it? If so, I would be grateful to receive your advice on the steps to take to diagnose and resolve this issue.
