Engine swap E60 535d --> E61 530d coding advice requested
Dear members,
an engine swap was performed from 2006 E60 535dA into 2006 E61 530dA. DDE and CAS are from the donor (E60). Obviously the engine starts yet the gear fails to engage from P. What's your take as the following steps to get everything into working order? Simply change VIN for DDE and CAS? Or donor VIN for EGS, and then synchronise with CAS? Anything else to consider?
