Do not try. Audi will punish you 3500 EUR. I am long time fan of Audi but think to change with Mercedes. They punish Audi lovers by refusing to repair and robbing 3500 EUR for a new MMI 4G0035666 . 666

What's your problem? Audi offers you map update via your local dealership as well. If you are not aware of the risks using illegal copy protection hacks, it's your fault.

Activation of maps is VIN sensitive. If you copy an activation file from one unit to another it will not work and DTC "Wrong activation" is stored on the ECU because VINs do not match. Here is where Carson comes... Patch hooks in in the very beginning of the boot procedure and removes the "asking for vin" mechanism on the MMI. When the MMI is fully booted up it doesn't know what the VIN of the current car is. So it can't check if the VIN in the activation file is valid for this car and ANY file from any VIN will work.

If something with the patch goes wrong your MMI is dead because of corrupted bootloader. So just don't use these patches.

Hi, I already have 6.19.3 maps activated with Carson patch on MMI 3GP. I want update map to 6.20.4. Is it possible only inject new FSC file? Maybe by editting run.sh? Or I need to use Carson patch again and again inject FSC also with patched MMI3GApplication. Thanks

Hello guys, I have a 3G MMI Plus I recently installed in place of a 2G MMI basic plus monochrome of an Audi A4, such as firmware and as I HN + _EU_AU3G_K0767 map 8RO060884AH ECE 5.13.8 but 'is locked and therefore unusable, I tried from SD to load both the map is the 6.19.3 6.20.4, but next to the item AUDI_MMI3G_ECE there 'a "?" and update the maps but only MapStyle and TMCConfig previously menu 'green I deleted "Delete database (will need reboot)" and "Delete Nav HHD partition", the output is written "Then' please reboot to red new initialized partition and afterwards install navigation database ", what can 'be the problem? After repair of the bricked MMI I got fault 001043 incorrect software version.
Does someone knows how to correct it ?
