I'm curious: why do people disable xDrive? Is it for performance? Tracking the car? Fuel saving? (honest question)
Personally I can't see myself disabling it; given the amount of snow & ice that builds up on Canadian roads during winter, it'd be foolish to do so. Summer-wise, xDrive has saved my ass from hydroplaning during those heavy thunderstorms. Always outnumbered, never outgunned.
