Hi all i have had  a go with esys and have coded a few things to start. I have tried to do this egs mod but it looks like there is a problem either esys 2.82 or my psdzdata v63, my istep is greyed out and not available... i know i added the alpina vo correctly because i was enabling ioffice and when i coded the hu_nbt2 the alpina boot logo showed up. What can i do to sort this issue out?. I read somewhere that replacing the kisjava in pszd with v61.4 will help but this did nothing apart from stop me connecting the enet..

It took me a couple of days to download esys and the full psdzdata i would prefare not to have to do that again

Same here -  flashed my F06, run for a few weeks and flashed back to stock. In Comfort seems to be ok but will not always downshift in Sport making the car super sluggish - not cool when you actually want it to pick up speed quickly. Disappointing really as I liked to have the gears displayed :/ 

Verdict: waste of time, on F06 at least.

As somebody told on this topic, if the car is not remapped, you will not see a difference...

Masa-both cars of your have been remapped or they were stock?

Mine is remapped and alpina sw is quite aggresive in sport setting.

Do the F06 LCI GC 650iXdrive and Alpina B6 use the same transmission from ZF? I am interested because then I could try the other car.
The 435i/440i do not use the same transmission as Alpina B4/B4S thus no chance - at least in my case when flashing only EGS.

yes both my cars are remap
Im not complain about car power loss just the gearbox is working strange when in sport mode

I have managed to get a copy of esys and full data that isteps arnt greyed out. I have a question if someone will please answer. After ecu has been force updated i then need to code the gearbox ecu because mine is x-drive.. do i have to load up my original vo and then code or do i use the modifed one with 920 in?

Use your original VO for coding, not the modified for Alpina Flash.

How to load Alpina EGS SW to any 8HP70 transmission.

Add to VO:
931, 920, 9XA
Production date 1211 or higher
Typeschlussel XA71 for F10, 3E51 for F30

Factory ilevel 11-09-507 or higher
Calculate TAL
Force EGS update

Then in TAL-PROCESSING:
Uncheck all
Check just EGS procedures - BLFLASH, SWDEPLOY, CDDEPLOY

Update takes about 3 minutes.

After update just for sure code EGS to again and in ISTA-D / Rheingold delete transmission adaptation values.
