9. Remember to check activate programming mode for then next flash

Hi Breach,
1-> What do you mean by assign static IP? is it from PC network settings? and what about subnet mask and default getway there?
2-> is all changes you mentioned in point 2 are in tftpd DHCP? becase I assume is default gw is the same is default router. subnet mask same as Mask (opt1)? or the default gw and subnet mask are in the network adapter settings?

I'm trying to update my ZGW for updating th IHKA.

Hello, what is your ICOM configuration ?

I use enet cable.

Found this mate, seems to explain it. Credits to Loliceman for posting it. I couldn’t work out how to link his post to this thread. But the whole thread is here.

It's easy to flash ZGW, I use this method:
Go to "TAL calculation" => Load FA from 2012/07 or above F10/F11 => Read ECU, save it as SVT_IST.XML => Edit this, change the line "Basevariant" from ZGW to ZGW2, save => load this SVT_IST.XML under "KIS target" => now calculate TAL and you should see ZGW wants a flash.

Hi,
Tried this guide several time but still not success because ITS NOT ENOUGH:
"Go to "TAL calculation" => Load FA from 2012/07 or above F10/F11 => Read ECU, save it as SVT_IST.XML => Edit this, change the line "Basevariant" from ZGW to ZGW2, save => load this SVT_IST.XML under "KIS target" => now calculate TAL and you should see ZGW wants a flash."

I had to make my own TAL from SVT_IST, load it as SVT_SOLL and calculating to flash.

Many thanks and rep to Milkeway (CU Oliver) in another topic when i asked about flash 6WB, its give me an idea to make own TAL smile

More info: i flashed ZGW02-High to 4SK with ENET cable, no need ICOM or change anything to static IP.

Take a look at the pictures with data from ZGW and ZGW2. Open the valley editor in Esys and write your own valley.
