No idea, what you did in green menu(maybe changed region), but try putting correct sw to sd card and hope for the best(that update will start), if no success, you need to send unit for repair.

As you see AUDI google earth overlay is useless(no street names etc) for navigation in Algeria(i have standard EU map 2017 at the moment)!

As far i know, eu software will not change your region back anymore, even if update starts. So my advise now is, find local specialist who has tools and skills or you need to send unit somewhere else for repair.

sw to sd, means copy software to sd card.

If you want google earth in your car then you should get portable TP LINK router MR3020 or MR3040, USB to ethernet adapter TrendNet TU2-100, passive USB hub with 2 USB ports (more USB ports takes more power from AMI and router cant work properly). Of course, the main thing is to have AMI interface with AMI to female USB adapter. i can see you have enabled Google earth in Green menu and now just get those hardware components and connect them together. Of course,someone posted that Algeria isnt covered with google road maps so I dont see a point of doing that for now.

as Sander77 has said earlier cheapest way to make it work is android auto and then after small hack of rooted phone ability to open any android app on phone and mirror it on q5 screen and control it via mmi knobs and buttons.
