probably it is a hardware (sdconnect) failure mate.
if das works, what das vehicle that you diagnose?
you need to test das vehicle that read ignition from CAN.
you can try w204 with das. if das gets ignition error too, it is definitely a bad sdconnect.

I have tried with w204 in das and i works   so maybe not a bad connect. Multiplexer is purchased with industrial engine license and works with Xentry, could it be locked, and can only be used on Mercedes industrial engine?

can someone help ? i have installed all from the first post.
I have install the driver for a 5054a and from a toyota vci.
But every time when i will start from desktop the xentry diagnosis.exe i become the error code "Fatal error (104) is is no sae j2534 config"

And error 1: "selectptdevice could net be started"

how can i select ?

Hi everybody,

I have strange issues. I can not unable ingintion in 12.2018 by grandpa method or program exe. 

It was working great on 9.2018 but now I have ignition small window but can not make tick active.

Any ideas please what can I check additionaly ?

your xentry passthru installation is not normal.
if it is possible, try to re-install again from scratch and please look carefully when xentry installs pre-requisite, and then do all addons update

or try this

go to c:\program files (x86)\mercedes-benz\xentry\bin\selectPTdevice\
run 'selectPTdevice.exe' (double click), then look if there are options to choose the pt device.
choose which one you want, and try to run xentry.

mine is 2018-12 too and the ignitionenabler.exe file is done as it should be.
try to extract and copy this global.sim file to c:\programdata\mercedes-benz\csd\writefil\sim

I have reinstalled Xentry passthru. An it works now.


It look like patch from LORD for normal Xentry is doing something this DAS that ignition does not work.

After use of it, DAS ignition stops working.

for every release, xentry\bin folder contents are different. if it is possible, try to re-install again from scratch, look carefully at every step and after finish, update addons.
it is better this way. your xentry installation is good from start.
