Hi,

one short question regarding the stand-alone fix in generally:

When I tried it, on a brand new machine, Rheingold want not start.
I just copied the C:\Program Files (x86)\BMW\ISPI\TRIC\ISTA Folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\Rheingold and did everything what was mentioned in the redme from the stand-alone fix (executed reg-file, copied the files to the folder).

Can anybody help please?

You took the contents of the ISTA folder and put them inside the Rheingold folder and not take the ISTA folder and put it inside Rheingold, correct? And you are running IsTa-D from ISTAGUI.exe?
Would you mind posting a picture of the error if you can?

Yes, exactly. There is no error message. Istagui.exe is just not starting.

The standalone fix 3.49.10 works fine with v3.49.30

E46-Cabrio beat me to it, but I was going to suggest running Rcleaner, just like in the link he posted above, try that. Also double check everything is in the correct location(s), that ISTAGUI.exe is not being blocked by any firewalls or antivirus...

You have to run RCleaner. Even on brand new install. I dont know why, had it done just yesterday.

RCleaner is not fittable for 3.49.x. For 3.49.x it will not allow you to run ISta D - means nothing will happen..

Works fine on 3.49.x if you follow the instructions properly.
