Interesting. So the check trigger should be manipulated/bypassed or blocked somehow. This is I guess not in the flash data but in the full data. RE: [S0777] tuning detected
No, incorrect data set error and s0777 error are two different things, incorrect data set it's not related to a tune, but to an incorrect coding not aligned with software in ecu, like different power class in eeprom and flash and so on. Incorrect data set error does not trigger the tune detection. s0777 it's not an ecu dtc.
(12-09-2022, 17:43 PM)lifestyle4life Wrote: Only possibility to cheat ISTA Auto Detection is to edit eeprom - when you have Stock Software on car and Eeprom is edited, S0777 is gone true, but edit eeprom like what? leaving hours and liters etc as is and deleting only the datas that triggers the error, so the question is: what datas trigger the error? (12-09-2022, 19:10 PM)paui Wrote: The tuning detection function is stored directly in the ECU. The ecu Edc17c50 checks the data set for correctness. I don't think this... Maybe can i remotely scan with my newer ista one of your tuned car checking also live datas like rail pressure etc so i can be sure that is tuned? |

RE: [S0777] tuning detected
Hmm. But when it scans live data, if it scans. Then it checks they values with 'standard' / 'normal' values. Or some preset table/mapping with some marge psi/bar or something. It should be somehow possible to edit these mapping then, if it can be detected.
