RE: MINI CODING ADD CHAMP MODULE TO CAR
I added $606 FA to the car and update champ module
but i have the same problem nav works few minute and after switch off any idea? (19-01-2016, 21:17 PM)ahorvath Wrote: The reason your Navigation shuts down after a few second is because you don't have the correct FSC file in the champ. You will need to get a fsc emulator or buy the files from the dealer. I had the same problem with my retrofit. dear friends the problem still remain after adding the fa $606 to CAS and FRM. Maybe Vin of car and CHAMP donator does not match... and nav does not work... what do you think? |

RE: MINI CODING ADD CHAMP MODULE TO CAR
Changing the VIN will not fix your issue. The issue is the FSC codes in the radio are not matching the FSC codes inside the CAS. Like I told you before you have two options buy the correct codes from the dealer or buy a FSC emulator that will trick the radio thinking that the codes match. I went with the emulator because it was much cheaper than getting the codes from the dealer. Also changing the codes are not easy.

And dealer does not provide a retrofit for champ unit on mini Rxx so i don t believe the can't provide me an fsc for retrofit. And if the can how can copy it on the car / champ unit? |

RE: MINI CODING ADD CHAMP MODULE TO CAR
There is no software out there that I know that will generate the correct FSC codes for you other than the dealer that is why I got the emulator.

RE: MINI CODING ADD CHAMP MODULE TO CAR
Ok you are speaking about a champ2 on a R60 right?
Are PDC still working after mounted the E9x emulator? |

RE: MINI CODING ADD CHAMP MODULE TO CAR
It depends on the emulator I don't have PDC on my Mini. I read online that the one from China will not work with PDC. Search online for E90/E60 emulator with PDC support I know there is a Canadian company that sell one it is not cheap but it will work.
