I have a fairly similar but different cable. I bought it 3 years ago and I only tried it with two E60 2004 and another E60 2005 and so far I have not had any problems. Do you have any idea if I have to make the modification for older models? (I leave the link of the seller to see if they know it: Interface USB OBD2 for BMW - INPA/Ediabas - K+DCAN allows full diagnostic of BMW from 1998 to 2008 (all function as in OMNITEC interface))
