Adblue problem on DAF XF105
Can adblue cause a non start on a DAF XF105? the truck is not starting and only start with quick start and when it start the performance is very bad, the truck run out of adblue and the driver was still using it until it quit. now its not starting at all, we try to add a gallon of adblue and the gauge is pointing to full but on a diagnostic its empty, the pump is not pumping and no dosing. there is no any faults in the engine apart from those of adblue. the owner claimed that adblue was deactivated but i doubt.

As i know. Adblue would never cause engine to stall or not to start. There maybe a faulty adblue emulator hidden somewhere that causes can signal error. Because it connects to can. Have a look at the area near diagnostic socket or passenger side. If owner says it was . Then it might be the cause. But when u have emulator adblue tank always shows half. Check if there is an emulator.
But first. Delete all errors and try to start engine without quick start. Then read errors again. It maybe not even can line. Maybe something wrong with the engine itself. Because if can line fails ecu would not respond at all. |

Well, the owner was just told that adblue was deactivated, and i remember before we filled adblue in the truck the gauge was zero now gauge is almost full which means it was not deactivated, I tried to erase the faults but they are permanent they won't go away. Sorry for taking too long to send the file,we had a holiday down here, the file for the Daf is attached please help to remove the adblue. I read the file with fgtech.
