Do U know what is ENET cable ????
It just 4 wires from OBD to lan !!!!!
U can have 10 of them, but not result.
Were screenshots of your problem ????

No screenshot is needed. I wrote details but upload screenshot too. On this screenshot you see k d can cable in device manager. When I connect there enet, I do not see anything in device manager, it is empty and cannot click on connect.

Sure I read. I wrote in my previous posts that in vehicle interface I tried local area network, direct connection and isis too. Does not matter what I choose, result is blank connection manager again and again. (in case of choosing direct connection, I do not see connection manager, starts connection but without a result) It is not first time I am installing this softwares. Always downloading your versions when you upload here new versions and everytime installed with success helping the faqs but now do not know what is happening. Computer is the same. I had on this laptop 4.04; 4.06 and many versions.

Are you using the Patched_EDIABAS_7.3.0 ? I had a castor/PSDZ error on my ISTA-P and it turned out I was missing a file in my Ediabas bin folder called REMOTE.ini I'm not sure you need this file but mine didn't come with it and i kept getting errors with ISTA-P ISTA + Was always fine.

This file should be in the C:\EDIABAS\Bin/remote.ini so if you don't have it try placing it in the folder mentioned above and trying to connect again to ISTA-P

I don't know why it didn't come with it but this is the only thing I changed. Make sure Windows Firewall and Windows Defender are off,

Try to get easyconnect running or Iradar tool and double check the IP is correct

I also used the ediabas konfigurator2.0.0 to setup my Ediabas.ini to Enet with 1 click it's really helpful and worked for me once done check if the ports are being used by another program.

I did not extract the BPL or SDP files I just simply extracted the ISTA-P Folder to my C:/ISTA-P used the loader Refreshed my ZGW placed the IP into the box loaded it up and ISTA-P was working again,

Also, try restarting the Laptop and taking off the car's battery for 15mins and retry.

Took me a good while to figure it out but working fine now ISTA + and ISTA-P

for Ista + I use the ICOM/Enet Direct connection on ISTA and leave my IP blank and it connects fine via E-net or ICOM K-Dcan always worked fine on my m3 since windows 7 copies.

I used this method last night to code an F10 the full plan was carried out took over 57 minutes to complete the plan worked fine.

Id able to get it running for you remotely if needed sometime PM me.

does anyone know if the psdz data folder is still needed for ista-p since ista p doesnt support flashing f series any more cant this be deleted

what is the purpose for it in ista-p folder

also if the above folder isnt needed in the ista-p folder could the rheingold psdz folder be shared between e-sys and rheingold it self

It depends on goal. Why use ISTA-P if you are not planning on programming? It can encode, but I use E-sys for that.

PSdZ folder in E-sys is used for Coding (lite) and Programming (full).

PSdZ folder in ISTA+ (BLP) is also used for kiswb/basic features.

& use winkfp for single modules for quicker use programming

Esys I use for both programming and coding of f series

I’m aware of the Psdz folder being in the ISTA+ Rheingold folder Programming d series and coding

You can still program F-series with code.
