ZVW  VW Passat 2.0 CR 2009 fuel pressure problem
Hello,

Maybe somebody know solution for VW Passat 2.0 CR 2009, because when driving and evenly holding the accelerator after 1-2 minutes driving show this fault
1 Fault Found:

000136 - Fuel Rail/System Pressure
P0088 - 000 - Too High - MIL ON

SW: 1037500159 03L907309B
HW: 0281015131

I change fuel pressure regulator, fuel metering regulator, injectors still the same. whew
Maybe software it's bad?

Thanks for anything helps!

Softwere posted is original..not tuned or moded..so need to find hardwere fault on fuel presure sistem or readapt all you changed.but If you think update will help you can flash it with latest frf..

RE: VW Passat 2.0 CR 2009 fuel pressure problem
How much pressure do you get (800Bar?) when this fault occurs?
Did you change fuel pressure sensor (located on fuel rail)?
Is it tuned?

RE: VW Passat 2.0 CR 2009 fuel pressure problem
Pay attention to other values of sensors, actuators in moment, then real (or better to say value read by sensor) pressure (for a short time) rise to around 1800 bar (yellow line). Desired pressure stayed at 1250-1300 bar (green line). On boths grafics this error apears at same pressure and for same time length and with same offset (diference between desired and real pressure). Think about!

connect odis, check in test plan what odis you give, there in test you will see where does not reach normal position, and odis will give for you hint what can be. Of course if you have odis. Otherwise, with vcds is difficult to check CR engines. Check all return pipes, maybe somewhere return pipe folded, becouse fuel is do not return to fuel tank. I do not remember exactly, but check, if there is fuel pump controller in fuel tank, try change controller.

I do not think taht problem is in returm pipes. Real pressure (better to say - pressure that think ECU is real, may be here is solution) rise very quickly to fast max. value for an SHORT period of time. And also very quickly (without esitation) drop down to desired pressure in rail. In this moment ECU trigered over pressure error (offset in pressure values for short period of time is around 500 bar!, threshold for error is aprox. 100 bar for an time interval). In any other time stamp - offset is no more than 10-30 bar (very good value). You can delete this error from firmware without any negative effects.

mayby not everyone know but i know that you should start from change fuel metering sensor bacause alot of passats from this year have this same problem !!!!!!!!!!! and then regulator

what you mean fuel metering sensor? Because i change fuel metering valve on the cr pump, but not work.

i try delete this fault from ECU, not show error on dashboard but car go to limp mode nod
