I think that FSC will never see the daylight because after scripts nobody care about FSC activation and waiting for someone to upload.
It doesn't matter if you drive Ferrari or Fiat, it's only count to be seen on finish line.

Hi guys
I have purchased q5 recently and I've got 3g basic mmi I belive. I would like to update maps to most current ones but I have never done something like this before, so im a bit worried. I belive my firmware is very old and I read some conflicting post on forums on what firmware shoud go first.
Please can anybody tell me step by step in what order should I install things first?
I have attached a picture of my MMI.
Please help

I think its odd too....there must be someone who work at the dealer who can take this home and copy. I know 2 guys that have the 2018 FsC but are not willing to share.

BEfore i go, i just want to be sure, that i have everything with me.


he has a "BNav_E_P0257_1" with "4G0919884N ECE 5.17.2"

As im told by him, he runs it with DVD the navigation.
My question is, can i update with the files provided in this thread, like the activator and the firmware upgrade to 260?
Also, i see difference on some files on the internet, example for 2017 i see DVD1 as 3.5Gb and 6.3Gb and both are for MMI 3G BASIC, what is the actual one i can use?

Can i burn the iso's to DVD or do i need to extract to SD card? Can he still use the other SD2 for his music? i saw that you need to activate from SD2.

Hi, the material you find here is fine for the Basic model with DVD including activator.
These are the 2 separate DVDs, as you see France is in DVD1 and Poland in DVD 2, to use them both you will have to put a map in one SD and the other in another SD, if I'm not mistaken you will not have to activate the map every time you will change SD Map.
I advise you to use the SD for these jobs and not the DVDs, the SD is much more practical and fast.

hi all,

I got the firmware updated to 260.
I dont know if the map is really updated or not. but when loading dvd1 or dvd2 after a while it gave the error that it could not give free the information in french.

Now i applied the Audi_3GB_Fix_K0260, i reboted the system and now when loading the NAV it only stays at " Medium is being tested, wait please"

Any one knows what to do?
