I've just been to the dealer and can confirm the following two factory installed "P" firmware images:

SQ5: MHI2Q_ER_AUG_P4170 FW: 1117


Q7: MHI2Q_ER_AUG_P4212 FW: 1177

Obviously these aren't available on SD cards BUT there might be upgrades for them available.

I got a bunch of infos lately and will update the excel file soon.
As far as I know for example version 976 for B9 is older then version 917. But 976 is also K firmware and not a P Firmware, so maybe that makes it logical…

Maybe. "K" is update while "P" is production. Also, they changed the chipset on the MIB2s. The original were Nvidia Integra 3 processors. Now they are Qualcomm. You will see in the image name a "Q" which means Qualcomm.

ie MHI2_ this is Integra. MHI2Q_ this is Qualcomm.

Maybe we will not see anymore updates for the original Nvidia version as they new cars are all Qualcomm versions.

Received 4M0 906 961 AL. It is US low line (Delphi) for A3, A4, Q5.

I'm searching informations regarding A4 B9 MIB2 upgrading.

My starting version is MHI2_ER_AUG22_P3241 - SW0678.
Assuming is a MIB2 HIGH (nVidia Tegra), should I try upgrading with 4M0906961AF (SW976) or 4M0906961BL (SW1117)?

Anyone has these firmwares?

Can someone shed some lights on this?

PS.: I have upgraded the VC of my A4 B9 using 8S0906961AB - SW309, and all goes right, directly from engineering red menu, without any problem.

I would go with 976 in your case because it is a non Qualcomm Unit.
The 4M0906961BL is for Audi A3. I don’t think you can crossflash to Audi A4.

Btw. newest version VC is 313 for B9.
Also available via SD card.

Unfortunately I've tried the 4M0906961AF (original SD card) and SVM-Code MI2HEU2156G22, but the MIB2 does not update, saying something like "train blocked". Are you aware of this?? Have you got any solution?
