Sorry, I cannot follow. All my keys are set new with every installation by my reg-file.
And there is no change since all the time. The question is: Why is programming with the new version for me not longer possible.

Set your registry as I previously indicated and start Ista+ and see if it works...

I have no problems with it, only at Ista startup I get message from resolution, but I heard that dealer has the same problem. Bug in Ista.

ISTA now checks windows theme setting. If not set to "Aero" warning message "display settings blah blah" appears.

FIX:

change currenttheme in registry to Aero.theme

"CurrentTheme"="C:\\Users\\****\\AppData\\Local\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Themes\\Aero.theme"

Could you see difference between these laptop?

first one is a toshiba i5 with 1366x768 no problems
second one is a zotac box with hdmi cable 1920x1080. (with the resolution message)

I checked with my friend at dealer, and here what I got from him.

US Solution for 00071432 Not a defect: Handling error This display fault is caused by the Microsoft Windows display settings. The Windows classic with Windows Aero-Design must be activated. This only occurs in ISTA 4.13 and newer due to an additional tab "NED" under "Troubleshooting". Please make sure that the graphic card drivers are installed correctly and that the screen resolution is set to a minimum of {1024 x 768}. If the issue is not solved, please perform the following steps:
1. Right-click on the display and select "Edit screen".
2. Choose "{Windows} - classic". If the issue is not solved, scale the text and UI elements in {Windows} as follows:
1. Right-click on the display and select "Display settings".
2. Make sure that the text size is set to {100%} or a maximum of {125%}.
If the issue is still not solved, please submit a support ticket via the ISPI Cockpit and provide the following information: 1. A screenshot of the error situation

After using Ista a number of times my register goes back to Custom.Theme ?

The personal Windows theme is by default saved as "Custom".
Just save it as "Aero" and it will be good. No further changes needed.
