RE: ETKA 8 [Germany + International] v2018 32/64Bit + Latest Updates - VW/Seat/Skoda/Audi
Sorry guys,
as I wrote in post #188, I did all steps as recommended, but after a successfull upgrade to 8.1 and Audi-updates I am getting a message all the time: MFC application ETKA doesn't work anymore. I tried the installation at least ten times and it ended with this message. Is there any solution for this problem? Thanks for helping in advance! James1234 |

RE: ETKA 8 [Germany + International] v2018 32/64Bit + Latest Updates - VW/Seat/Skoda/Audi
Ok.Here i am again to tell you what i have done for update ETKA 8.0 to 8.1 and make it work fine. First i downloaded from another post of KrAzYtHeBoY the archive ETKA Data & Price Updaters [English] [International] and run it. I have to say that my ETKA was on VW 1238 and i let the ETKA UPDATER to download all updates and just closed it. After this i opened ETKA from my desktop and let it run only the first update before asking me to update at 8.1. (VW 1239) For doing this i just moved all installation updates ( c:/etka/data/etc from each folder to a temporary folder at my desktop leaving only the 1239. After this, i followed the steps that KrAzYtHeBoY wrote at post #208 and overwrite only files that was the same. Opening the ETKA again is in 8.1 and by putting back the update installation files made all updating correctly after restarting again the ETKA. If my post helps someone a THANKS or REP +1 will be good. |

RE: ETKA 8 [Germany + International] v2018 32/64Bit + Latest Updates - VW/Seat/Skoda/Audi
All working but......i have updated brand by brand and after update each brand apears this dll error:
And ETKA doesn´t start. Solution: Copy again this steps 3. Go to C:\ETKA\PROG\IX\Prog and copy all files 4. Paste to C:\ETKA\PROG1 and overwrite all files need 5. Paste to C:\ETKA\PROG2 and overwrite all files need Now all "at the moment" works fine, i think until new data updates. I think 8.1 Update isn´t very fine. Any idea about it? If my post helps someone a THANKS or REP +1 will be good. THANKS¡¡¡¡ |

RE: ETKA 8 [Germany + International] v2018 32/64Bit + Latest Updates - VW/Seat/Skoda/Audi
I've just downloaded the monthly updates and the message says ETKA 8.1 is available. I downloaded it from the link. When I installed it, it said EKTA not found. I've been using ETKA 8.0 for over 12 months and it always worked.
Anyone else have the same problem? 2010 Golf GTD (170) CBBB, 5 Door, Shadow Blue (P6/D5Q), Flat Tyre Indicator, Basic Protection Pack + VCDS.

RE: ETKA 8 [Germany + International] v2018 32/64Bit + Latest Updates - VW/Seat/Skoda/Audi
The problem is if you click continue with update its starts from the beginning with VW again which has already installed. Then Audi you get the same message update to 8.1. Click continue and it installs 2 updates out of the 4 but is shows no continue button.
This is bleeding annoying if the continue update button doesn't show. 2010 Golf GTD (170) CBBB, 5 Door, Shadow Blue (P6/D5Q), Flat Tyre Indicator, Basic Protection Pack + VCDS.
