I'm your fan!
I have a question about trick to avoid loose of startkey when online.
I installed successfully Xentry Xdos 12.2018 (also tested on the car).
I make a copy of lic2 file, change extension to .x4711 and make it READ ONLY.
But trick is not working for me.
When I connect internet I lost startkey and need to enter a new one.
Does anyone test it successfully on 12.2018 ?

Format disk, install win7 Pro only, disable windefender, firewall, UAC and update, install drivers, IE11, and after this disable internet connection. Install openshell, use patch, insert key using config asyst, make x4711 and everything must work! Do not open config asyst with eneble internet connection!!!

Please need help. i have installed all things like instruction, then installed avdi passthru driver(orig avdi). everything open but avdi interface not detected.

please give more details.
- what is your OS and is it x86 or x64?
- is it xentry passthru or xdos?

i don't have genuine avdi, so i hope @MBENZTECH will jump in and help
but you can try this:

use windows explorer, go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mercedes-Benz\xentry\bin\SelectPTDevice.exe

run the SelectPTDevice.exe and choose abritus avdi.
if you install avdi driver correctly, your device will be on the list. then run xentry again.

or if you know, what avdi passthru device name, you can edit slave.ini in:
C:\ProgramData\Mercedes-Benz\config\Xentry\caesar\driver\slave.ini

go to:

PassThruVersion="04.04"
DeviceName="I+ME ACTIA - PassThru+ XS 2G"    <== change this to avdi passthru name (i don't know the exact correct name of avdi passthru)

Hello. thank you for reply. My OS is win 7 64bit. avdi drivers are installed correctly. when xentry start it ask to select devide and i select avdi. Xentry start but when i select vehicle it stay spinning at : the connection with the vehicle is beeing estabilished... Battery voltage and ignition are --. I have tried installing vas 5054 but same result
