If Chks is not re-calculated, Kess will do it after you choose the file to be write.

I haven't wrote anything. The error happens after i save the file. The error pops up in a windows box then after clicking on it another error says it need s to close the software. I have to say the car is a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country 3.6. You can't choose that in Kess. I choose 2011 Jeep Wrangler 3.6. protocol 431. When i check on Kess website it says Kessv2 651. To me the error is genuine

You saying you can ignore the error and when it reads it back it will calculate the checksum?

RE: Kess problem
There is a way to disable the CKS in Ksuite for Kess and Ktag, this way you can read the content for sure, because it doesn't check it after reading! But be careful, if you want to write the MOD after, you have to fix it manually, or enable it again in Ksuite.
