Vw golf mk6 module comfort help
Hello, I have a vw golf mk6 of 2012, the comfort module has been damaged with water. the brush was always working. I decided to buy a module used on eBay with the same reference, put it and it worked right but I do not have daylight. is there any way to program with vcds or Vag-can-pro?
Thanks |

You must set Coding like in your old module if old module work on diagnostic check coding and write it in new one or do it manually should work with both vcds and vcp |

Hello, Copy/Paste the long coding of the old one into the new unit should do the trick. If it doesn't, you may look here: https://www.google.fr/search?num=50&ei=1...NMebrTicyY Sometimes, a byte needs to be recoded depending of the region you are and the light you use: Xenon/Halogene... Good luck... |

Hello, I used a VCP clown to update a few components software, but never did basic settings/adaptation/long coding with it. I guess there should be an option to do it?! I used VCDS. Good luck... Hi there, I only own a genuine cable, so i'm not sure how you should proceed. If your cable is detected in 11.11, it should be ok. Why do you say "it doesn't work? Did you install VCDS according to this procedure: http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/usb/usb-config-xp.html The same apply for Windows 7, 8, 10... Is your VCP genuine by the way? Good luck... Sébastien. |
