Anyone care to share the SWID_FscShort code for 2019.

For 2018, the code is 002D002D. I don't understand the logic behind how these values are getting incremented.

I tried 002D0038 but get "incorrect code" response. My maps are currently 2011 maps. If the code is imbedded in the maps, it shouldn't matter. Any suggestions on a course to obtain a different code?

I currently have North America EVO 2018-4 on my 2016 F30 340i. I assume North America PREMIUM 2019 not the correct version update for my car...can someone confirm?

If my assumption is right, is there a link to the North America EVO 2019-1 version that I can download?

Correct, and North America EVO 2018-4 is the latest.  2019-1 is not released.

**UPDATED** I confirmed today that you do not need the 2018 installed to use this new 2019 update with only 1 USB stick.

Do you have to be running this current map version for this File/Map to work?

My car has the original factory map, and I would like to update it directly to 2019-1.

No it does not. 

you can update from an year to the latest. as long as you're in the same family, PREMIUM to PREMIUM, NEXT TO NEXT, etc.

No it does not.

Shawn, thanks for the response, but I did get an OTA update last week for the TX region, and it is 2019-1 for TX, while the complete map database installed on my car is 2018-4. Is it possible that they are only releasing regional updates OTA until the full update is released?

Yes.  I would expect 2019-1 Full will be in next batch of map releases then.

Hi, just tried this but it did not work

"it did not work" does not tell anybody, anything.  If you want help, you should actually describe your issue in detail, as in what exactly you did and what the result was or was not.

1. Downloaded lynxbmw_Road Map North America PREMIUM (USB) 2019.7z from Mega.
   
2. Extracted lynxbmw_Road Map North America PREMIUM (USB) 2019.7z using 7zip.
   
3. Formatted 32GB Flash Drive with FAT32 file system
   
4. Copy contents from NAVD_00005C4B_255_005_229 to root of Flash Drive. (config.nfm and pkgdb with the sub contents
   
5. Started car, waited about 5 min for CIC to fully boot up.
   
6. Verify Current map is Road Map North American PREMIUM 2018-1.
   
7. Place Flash Drive into USB port located in Glovebox (e90)
   
8. Waited about 2-3 min.
   
9. No Prompt to start the update. 
   
10. Unplug Flash Drive and Replug, again no prompt.

That all sounds correct, and car with 2018-1 as current map should not have any issue.  Just to clarify, the NAVD_00005C4B_255_005_229 itself cannot be on the USB Drive.

Mac places hidden files on USB Drive hat prevent update.  Use BlueHarvest to remove them.

okay so I bought it used it, it says it cleaned the file but it still looks like this?

Downloaded this maps yesterday but at 87.4% it stops and it tell ''The navigation DVD is unreadable."
Should i download maps again? Maybe bad download?
