I hope you can help me out.

I have a E60 from 2009. Originally i have CIC in the car with TCU 1.5 and mulf2 high. In my armrest i have USB and AUX (6FL) factory fitted.

I did a retrofit to combox. All the wires are moved and plugged in the right order to the combox pin housing socket. EVerything works fine including USB under armrest. This is connected on black port on combox.

But my AUX is not working. I checked the plug from the aux connector under my armrest and 3 wires goes to the back of the cic in pin 2,7 and 8. In idrive i see AUX and can also select it but there is no sound.

I checked coding and everything seems to be okay. Before the retrofit it was working fine with TCU and mulf2 together with USB hub. USB hub is coded on nicht_active in the combox .trc file.

HI,

normally, if the Mulf 2 High was installed OEM; the aux cable goes to Mulf 2 High and not CIC.
Now, you will need to rewire the aux cables to the combox or code manually the CIC.

Hi Thorsten,

There was indeed wiring in the mulf2 for aux. This wires i had to rewire to combox. But the Mulf2 was connected on the USB hun in the trunk (black cable).

Strange thing is, that in the cic CDMM_AUX_HU to aktiv is coded but still no sound.

Thanks problem is solved. My car had from factory 6FL so the previous owner had disconnected the AUX connector that comes from the trunk and put a new aux wire to CIC .

I plugged the connector back in the AUX and the sound was working.
