Hello,

I have a Touareg 2011, it is equipped with an RNS850.
Normally, on the 2015 versions it is possible to have Google Earth, I wonder how to activate it on my version.
I opened the green menu and activated a lot of functions.
Now I have Google Earth, but the box is gray, I can not use it.
I also activated Wifi.
My MMI has the SIM card option, and I have a SIM in the MMI with the internet connection working.

Does anyone know how to use Google earth?

Look at clubtouareg.com, there are instructions there. I have done it myself on a 2011, with sim card.

I want to know if there is a solution to work with the MMI sim card

When I go in the green menu, all is activated , GEMMI, WIFI......

but when I go on navigation, the Google Earth box is grayed out.

no, for the moment I have not received any answer or any help for this problem.
The concern is that the RNS850 is only in the Tuareg, it does not represent a lot of model on the road.
Finally, our problem does not interest many people

Any luck with this? i too am in the same situation, working internet connection but greyed out google earth button and Internet POI and traffic do not work.

Have you tried disabling and enabling fairmode in green menu? You need the reception bars to have two opposing arrows.
