2017 VW Golf Sportwagen MK7 TCM Flash Needed
Hello there, new here.. I have a 2017 VW Golf Sportwagen FWD 6speed auto with the PPU Transmssion,, car is in Canada.. purchased with accident and the TCM was torn out - and the wires were ripped too .. purchased a used TCM for this car (model number: 09g927749ap - confirmed with dealer this is correct for my VIN) and fixed the wires and the TCM but there are 2 extra wires coming from the new TCM (I don't have the original) - it is throwing code for no connection to 2 selenoids. I checked all wires in my car and these 2 wires don't exist anywhere - I went right to the transmission too... I am thinking the new TCM because it is for a 2016 model is a bit different and has the 2 extra connections that are not used in the 2017 model year... what I am hoping to do is to flash the TCM to the 2017 because it is the same model number (09g927749ap).
I am new to the site and learning my way around,, I believe I need ODIS for this ? As for the actual flash file - not sure how to get that. Wondering if anyone has this car or knows how I can get the flash file ? (I believe this particular car is a Jetta in Europe) |
