Just installed 09-2019 open shell, update all addons but this option is not available in 09-2019, can anyone confirm.
Also, this xentry log in menu is new from 07-2019

What is the ApplicationMode that ConfigAssist ran under in build 9/2019?

Hi Guys , anyone have a solution to DAS LICENSE INVALID during MB BUS diagnostics?
PKW - works fine , just only BUS 'es have a license problem , i used old key gen, and set the license since 2019-01-01 up to 2035-01-01 it is that correct?

Can you ask your friend is he as scn account? And was his account blocked after this scn, need to wait a few days to see if they block his account.

I have noticed you have inquired several times in this thread regarding a Xentry Flash account becoming disabled when used on a system where the license has tested invalid.  Do you have any first-hand experience with this occurrence, or know someone that has had this occur to them?

I am curious to know exactly what happened, and were they able to get their account re-enabled?  Did they contact Daimler to check on the status of their account to see if it was perhaps something else?

I know the more recent versions (going back to 2018) have a Daimler PAI login page that is locally spawned although it looks like you are at a real login window with a live connection.  Although you can enter the correct password several times, it will refuse access and continue to do so due to the connection to the Internet is not working.  It can sometimes log you in "offline", in which it was state that in the upper left corner.  A work around is to check for internet connectivity, close Xentry completely out, and reopen, and attempt SCN again.  This time it will likely accept your password (in the event it has not been disabled for some other reason).

I have heard of accounts becoming disabled for a while now, but I can't say I have ever read where a single individual has had their account disabled for the reasons discussed here.  I am not disputing those claims; only seeking more information regarding the occurrence and if they were able to get the account enabled again.

I think this information would be beneficial for those that must, in person, code occasionally on another workshops machine, not knowing the status of their license.

Thank you, like you, I am just looking for clarification. I said that because the sellers are warning about scn account been block. I don't have scn account or need to do scn on my car just want an answer about "special protection for scn"

I have a suspicion that if Xentry Flash accounts that are owned by individuals and are disabled due to a suspected licensing violation or for some other reason causing them to lose their Xentry Flash license they paid for and use in their workshop, the forums would be lit up immediately with people complaining.  I am still looking for the post that states "Warning! My SCN login was disabled today!" but haven't read one yet.  Again, I am not dismissing the claims that it is possible, and anyone that reviews the log files can see that ever vehicle their installation of Xentry/DAS has communicated with has a very detailed log of everything that occurred during that session-

1. VIN number of vehicle being diagnosed.
2. Results of Quick Test.
3. All codings and settings currently applied to the vehicle. (handy to resort to if you need to review original SCN codestring - it's hidden in plain sight).
4. Every menu you enter, exist, and selection you pick.
5. Exactly how long your session was with that vehicle.

All of this is logged locally on your machine and it has nothing to do if you go online of it you do not.  I would have no reason to not suspect that Daimler collects some telemetry to identify software issues and possibly misuse of their software.  Obviously the license structure is designed to prevent inappropriate use of the software and whether they feel it is in their best interest to administer and oversee blocking and disabling offending accounts, for financial reasons or other reasons is only known by them.

One thing I feel pretty certain that the majority of users overlook is this setting, which turned ON for all installations by default:

   

This essentially gives them permission to monitor your usage of the product.  Some may be fine with this, and some may not, but people should at least know it is there.

there are many ways to handle das bus obstacle.
1. das32r2.exe patch : problem with special functions task
2. lic.sli corrected : i don't share it
3. use long key: limited free offer

i guess, it is better you choose no 3 at this moment. because your xentry will use original files and original key.

Hello persona! used to activate Xentry 07/19 a long key, the program started. Xentry updated yesterday on 09/19 the program stopped starting. In ConfigAssist, the key is active. What could be the problem?

i never do update because i found that xentry doesn't overwrite my patch files.
you can try to install from fresh and use the new long key.

Would anyone be willing to share the ORIGINAL versions of db2mv.gmf, com.daimler.xentry.diagservice and das lic.sli files? Pesona already provided the new long key but i still have the modified fix files in place and would like to put the original files back in place. Thank you.
