Hey, i have a problem with a Update.

I did a ilevel update with a kcan cable and all went through but on AFS module (AL on ISTA) 
the Programming went till 50% and then shows capi error....


on winkfp i get Security access denied error.


With this cable I already updated the ilevel on a lot of cars and never had problems.
(Updated firmware)


Now i tried with a geniue ICOM Next and i got the same error.
I tried SP DATEN v61 and v41.

Do you have a idea to help?

The next would be to buy a new AFS Module but they are pretty expensive

Can you show us the UIF page from INPA or Gini?
Does the module show up in ISTA?

It shows up.
Uif is unwritten the vin is y??????

And the module stays in programming state
It shows a flash error

i would first try with ISTA-P and ICOM. last i would try is to manually update the module with winkfp in expert mode but without booting sector

I already tried with icom and istap.
In winkfp i have the error i mentioned abve

Ok, so it looks like data got corrupted by the K+DCAN cable. That's why the VIN is wrong and UIF is blank. I would use FindECU with the part number to attempt to find a valid ZB for that module. Then either correct the ZB info on the module with Tool32 and attempt a flash with ISTA-P, or flash with WinKFP.

I flashed the dcan cable with https://github.com/uholeschak/ediabaslib.
now reprogrammed all the car with ista p and working now.
so dcan cable is better then icom
