Hi Guys,

there is a company who claims the possibility to turn x-drive on and off simply by an app running on Iphone or Android without error entries. Costs 149$

Will this also work by our well known tool E-Sys?

P.S. I do not have any relationship to this company. Found the Information in a german BMW Forum.

you mean delete fa SA 203
and then code dsc E with empty man file?
and then x drive is disabled without error message?

xDelete instructs the VTG module to ignore DSC commands when to use the front wheels...

However, DSC logic is still for all wheel drive car.
This can get somewhat dangerous, since DSC still thinks the car is AWD, and the behavior is different for 2wd and AWD.

Removing four-wheeling works with Esys without any problem, with models you do not need a FA modification or FDL coding.
Important Is type key and you must remove backup from VTG. I've already tried at X5 F15 Bj 2017 and F33 Bj 2016 and works without a problem and without error message.
