XZBMW  Remote fault scan / i-level update using ISTA
Currently I am coding remotely using Esys, teamviewer vpn and remote enet to port forward. This works great when customer has ENET cable on their end.

I want to fault scan and update i level when customer has ICOM on their end. Can I use the same method? Just teamviewer vpn and remote enet?

I imagine ICOM is needed for i level update for voltage control. ENET cable may fault scan, but not use for i level update?

You can use icom as well. Just need another port forwarded. But don’t do complete i level over vpn. If you doNt see why, ok go ahead tongue

And to elaborate a bit. You won’t see voltage with icom
Over vpn either.

Yeah I didn't think it was a good idea to do the complete i-level over vpn. Too much risk involved. No point really using ISTA then. Only fault scan.

Not sharing? This info is well documented. It’s only a batch command which opens a netsh command for port 50160.

This tool will allow voltages on remote ISTA sessions.
