RE: E61 - coding new SZL
I don’t expect people to remember the codes I’m just saying what error codes I have to help with diagnosis , sorry if I should of explained what those errors are rather than just numbers. My bad

Any idea what to do then???
the SZL unit is coded with the correct VIN , it keeps failing calibration, I’m basically stuck in what to do next

Thanks

RE: E61 - coding new SZL
If previous poster was correct that you have invalid coding error that can mean one or both of two things:
1. You have not coded unit to a car properly. And I mean actual coding, not just VIN.
2. Unit is incompatible with that car.

Give us part number of the new SZL and car VIN so we can check for 2.

RE: E61 - coding new SZL
Also try tool32 loading szl prg and running the job containing lenkwinkel_dsc_abgleichen. Job is valid when loading dsc prg of e90, so for szl might be slightly different, i dont remember now.

RE: E61 - coding new SZL
Correct prg is dsc_60.
Why you playing with tool32 if you dont know how to do this. Open ISTA+ and calibrate sensor

Why does it say this error

Requested control unit dsc_60 not found
Control unit found dsc_60PP
?

I’ve already tried calibrated with ISTa and it fails

thanks

Part seems to be correct. So then item 1 remains. You need to first code it properly using NCS Expert or ISTA-P.

RE: E61 - coding new SZL
Bad or old script in INPA....but this is not now important...for this job INPA not need.
Like I sad before...and on this way have any time from first attempt done without any problem.
1.Flash szl with car vin
2.Code szl
3.With tool32 or ista+ senzor calibrate
4.Start system time that airbag lamp go off
