ZVW  Golf 7 ACC How to force Component Protection
Hello,

I want to activate ACC/pACC in Golf 7 2019 with ACC sensor and proper buttons installed.

Got some instructions, but one point isn't clear for me:

"Flash the "X" firmware first. Before flashing, there must be a static fault with component protection enabled."

I have modified flash files matching my radar, but don't know how to enable Component Protection fault, the ACC sensor is factory installed in this car, so there is no error. Maybe after re-flashing ACC the error would appear?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thank you in advance,
Best regards

RE: Golf 7 ACC How to force Component Protection
If you have H10 ACC its easy without triggering CP, in H11 its a little bit more complicated

I believe you have to run the Guided Function to replace the ACC unit, but disconnect it at a certain point, so it does not allow Component Protection to be configured and leaves it active

RE: Golf 7 ACC How to force Component Protection
Do a component protection removal on the ACC module and when you see message about GFA/IKA on the screen, quickly remove the head from OBD connector. This will result in unfinished CP removal process and will trigger the CP and changes the public SWaP key to the required one.

thanks in advance mate

this is the right way to do it .
