Hi there,

i try to retrofit ICAM2 to a F32 LCI (440i) with HU_NBT.

- ICAM2 is factory new (66 53 9 396 832)
- 3AG was added to the VO and activated
- After reading VCM from Car, ICAM2 shows up in the ECU tree
- PSdZ Error shows up at trying to calculate CAF/SWE for ICAM2
- HU_NBT, ICM, FEM_BODY and REM were coded with the calculated CAF/SWE
- When reversing the camera options show up, but no video
- With Dr.Gini i´m able to connect to the ICAM2 ECU and read errors etc
- I´m using ESYS 3.30.1 with PSdZ v.4.34.40 full

Anybody has an idea what can do?

which ICAM do i need?
I bought a complete Kit including the wiring loom on ebay, which should work on F32 from 07/2017.
The car is manufactured in 11/2017.

Hey, icam2 should work.. I think that you need to flash the icam2 first by calculating flash for the F32 and clicking the 'hwel from actual' button. After flashing it should be possible to code the camera. You dont get any image because the icam2 doesn't have any coding on it.

IMHO it will not work. It is not a problem that this is ICAM2. Problem is this specific HWEL 1643_7_0_1 is NOT in F020 series (which covers F032) KIS db which means it was never used or supposed to be used in F32. So ESys does not know what it is and what to do with it.

It is in F025 and some others series KIS db, but using different series to code something is usually very tedious work and can be attempted if you REALLY know what you do only. IMHO just get an ICAM proper for your car.

That was the solution, after flashing the ICAM i get image. No addional coding was needed

To which canbus you connected icam2? To can1 or can2?

Hi, it is connected to K_CAN1 (PIN 51 +52) at the FEM. Exactly like in the attached drawing.
