Hello Everyone,

I started having an issue with ISTA 4.35.18 connecting to any vehicle, it will connect to the vehicle and bring up voltage in the top right but then will get stuck/looped up on the "background processes" when its trying ti get vehicle information(vin,option codes, ect.), i have tried uninstalling ista and reinstalling different versions as well, i have tried other icoms and Ethernet cables, verified firewall is disabled and cant seem to get the problem fixed.

any ideas or input to correct this would be greatly appropriated!

Are your using Windows 10 or 11 up today?
You should post some screen shots. I don't think others have a crystal ball to help.

I have always used windows 10, i attached screen shots, "scan2" picture is what i'm talking about the load bar will just keep going and going and wont go past that point.

Hey all sorry for the delay i appreciate all the help/input, it has been busy for me but here is the update, so i changed the ista vci interface setting to ICOM /ENET local area network instead of the ICOM /ENET direct connection, it will connect to the vehicle and start getting vehicle information but it is crazy slow took about 1 hour to connect and scan the vehicle.

i don't have any other issues with my laptop speed in other applications or download speeds so i'm not sure what is slowing down ISTA

also to note ista application is not slow it is like the data transfer from the car to ista that is slow

an x7, i work at a dealer and tried several different cars, all do the same thing

And ista at work is that quicker?

Have you istalled older ista before?
